Meet Bilbo!
Hi, my name is Bilbo the purple gorilla, and I am a GeoAnimal from Pinellas Preparatory Academy. I like to eat bananas and break dance in my spare time. This is my second year as a GeoAnimal and I am excited to travel again! I have been to California already. I was able to travel all over San Franciso. I would love to make some new friends! I represent the 8th grade at PPA. Please let me hang out with you for 1-2 weeks, then pass me on to someone who will take good care of me like you did. Whoever has me on April 15, 2011, please send me back to my school. Please update my blog with all my adventures so that my friends at PPA can see. Email pictures of my adventures to our adviser, Mrs. DeBaker, at hdebaker@pinellasprep.org, and she will post them :) Also, you can send postcards, souvenirs, and letters to our school. The 8th Graders love to get mail! Thank you for helping me travel the world and for taking care of me!
Bilbo started his journey this year as a member of a Fall 50 team in Door County, Wisconsin. His legs were a little short to run any of the 50 miles, but he provided much moral support. He then went to a Halloween party at a new friend's house. There were vampires, a pig, a soccer player and even a Prom Date Barbie. He recovered from the race the next morning by joining Mrs. DeBaker's husband and family for Sunday brunch in Green Bay. He had time to take a picture of Mr. DeBaker and his nephews, all decked out in Packer jerseys, ready for the big game against the Vikings.
ReplyDeleteHe then headed down to Chicago to join a haunted pub crawl, making some new friends along the way. He's excited to go to Minneapolis next weekend for Halloween.
